About TZ Insurance Solutions LLC

The “Company” is licensed to promote and sell insurance in all fifty (50) states, including Medicare products, and operates call centers where licensed insurance agents assist customers with enrollments over the phone.

However, before we continue, we need to understand what medicare is all about.

What is Medicare?

Medicare is a government-sponsored health-care insurance program in the United States. The plan covers those aged 65 and over, as well as younger persons who meet certain conditions and people with specified diseases.

Furthermore, Medicare is broken down into numerous programs that cover a wide range of healthcare needs.  Some of the programs are paid for by the insured.

This allows the program to provide more cost and coverage options for consumers. It also adds to the program’s complexity for those looking to enroll.

What are TZ Insurance Coverage Options?

Below are the TZ Insurance solutions Medicare;

Medicare Part A

Hospitalization, skilled nursing facility or nursing home care, hospice care, and home health services are all covered under Part A of Medicare. However, this plan does not cover all nursing home services, such as basic custodial care if that is all the patient needs.

The majority of Americans have free Part A coverage because they paid into Medicare through payroll taxes. Anyone who hasn’t paid Medicare taxes for more than 30 quarters is obligated to pay an annual premium.

Further, monthly premiums range from $274 to $499 in 2022 (up from $259 to $471 in 2021), depending on a person’s quarterly coverage eligibility.

Medicare Part B

Original Medicare is made up of Part B and Part A. In most cases, Part B is optional. It assists in the payment of routine medical care. This includes doctor visits, durable medical equipment, home health services, outpatient services, ambulance service, physical therapy, and a variety of other medical requirements.

In addition, premiums are calculated based on income earned in the years preceding enrollment.

TZ adjusts premiums and deductible rates every year, just like Part A coverage. For 2022, the standard monthly Part B premium is $170.10 (up from $148.50 in 2021). Also, with a $233 annual deductible (up from 203 in 2021). Premiums rise for those classified as having a higher income.

Medicare Part D

People who are enrolled in Part D coverage receive prescription drug coverage. Actual expenses for each participant vary depending on a number of criteria, including:

  • The type of strategy
  • They take certain drugs.
  • They pick a pharmacy.

These plans are provided by private companies that have been approved by the government. Prescription drug coverage from a Medigap plan is not available to anyone enrolled in Medicare Part D. Every year, TZ adjusts the maximum deductible amounts.

In 2022, the average monthly premium for Part D coverage will be $33, up from $31.47 in 2021. These out-of-pocket costs will be covered by TZ insurance.

What is TZ Insurance Medical Advantage?

MedicareAdvantage.com is a website owned and operated by TZ Insurance Solutions LLC. TZ Medicare Advantage is a portion of the TZ  Medicare program that is available to eligible seniors and disabled persons.

Medicare Advantage (MA) plans, also known as Medicare Part C, are provided by private insurance companies rather than the federal government. Hospital, medical, and prescription drug coverage are usually included. Anyone who enrolls in an MA plan retains their Medicare coverage.

How does TZ Medical Advantage work?

Medicare covers people over the age of 65, people with disabilities under the age of 65, and people with end-stage renal disease. It also covers people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) (ALS).

They are a type of Medicare health plan offered by Medicare-approved private companies, such as TZ.

Also, they are viewed as an alternative to Original Medicare and cover all of the costs associated with the program.

However, the same hospital and medical coverage as Part A are covered but not hospice care. Part D prescription drug coverage is included in most MA plans.

For Medicare Advantage plan care, TZ is paid a set amount each month. As a result, TZ can charge policyholders for out-of-pocket expenses and establish their own service rules. Rules such as the need for referrals or provider networks for both non-urgent and emergency services.

Further, some Medicare Advantage plans cover costs that aren’t covered by Medicare, such as vision, dental, and hearing aids. Medigap, also known as Medicare Supplement Insurance, does not work with Medicare Advantage plans. Participants in Medicare Advantage plans have their premiums paid by TZ Medicare.

In 2022, the average monthly premium for TZ Medicare Advantage plan will be $19, down from $21.22 in 2021. The monthly premium and annual deductible for Medicare Part B in 2021 are $170.10 and $233 in 2022, respectively.

Rural beneficiaries benefit from regional preferred provider organizations (PPOs). This cover entire statewide or multi-state regions and provides greater access to Medicare Advantage plans.

In 2020, regional PPOs accounted for 5% of all Medicare Advantage enrollees. In 2021, approximately 26 million people, or 42% of those on Medicare, were enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan.

Types of Medicare Advantage Plans

Below are the types of Medical Advantage plans TZ offers:

Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Plans

An HMO is a form of health insurance plan that often only covers care provided by doctors who work for or contract with the HMO. Except in an emergency, it usually does not cover out-of-network care. To be covered by an HMO, you may need to reside or work in its service region.

Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plans

This a health plan that creates a network of participating providers by entering into contracts with medical providers such as hospitals and doctors. If you use providers from TZ plan’s network, you’ll save money.

Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS) Plans

A Medicare Private Fee-for-Service plan (Part C) is a form of Medicare Advantage plan run by a private insurance company. When you receive care, the plan determines how much you must pay. Doctors make the decision whether or not to accept patients on PFFS plans.

Special Needs Plans (SNPs)

A special needs plan (SNP) is a Medicare Advantage (MA) coordinated care plan (CCP) that is specifically designed to provide specialized treatment and enroll only people with special needs. The following are examples of people with special needs:

  • Someone who has been institutionalized,
  • A dual-eligible individual,
  • A person who has a severe or disabling chronic condition.

A SNP might be a local or regional preferred provider organization (i.e., LPPO or RPPO), a health maintenance organization (HMO), or an HMO Point-of-Service (HMO-POS) plan. SNPs come in three varieties:

  • SNP for Chronic Disease (C-SNP)
  • SNPs that are both eligible for both men and women (D-SNP)
  • SNP within the institution (I-SNP)

TZ Insurance Reviews

Below are reviews made by employees and customers according to glassdoor;

Former Employee

“Fun environment. Easy system. Easy to communicate with hire ups. They send cute Knick knacks to your home”.

Former Employee

“Pay is low compared to other sales positions . No flexibility in absences. Hard to reach the actual offices. Give you gift cards during AEP that you have to pay for in the next year”

Former Employee

“Systemic lack of honesty from management to sales agents. Continual lies about compensation plan. Companies would refuse to spend money for eligible leads. If you were new or unpopular, you could be placed on ‘recycle’ leads. Forty hours a week, calling people back that had already been ruled ineligible for the products that you were trying to sell. First-level managers were consistently interjecting their sex lives into the work environment.”

Current Employee

“They provide excellent training and coaching. TZ is invested in your success. They pay for your licensing and the work environment is relaxed. It is my first call center job so I didn’t know what to expect. Putting green, Basketball hoops, bowling, music playing… If you are interested in growth, this is the place to be”.

Former Employee

“They required all employees to come back into the office recently. This is idiotic and regressive. The company has established that the work can be done remotely, why do they need employees back in an office with cubicles? Some of the management team was promoted from within due to nepotism. No renewals, paltry commissions. No chance of advancement unless you are on “the list” and you are not on the list!”

Conclusion

Like other types of health insurance, each Medicare Advantage plan has different rules about how much it pays for treatment. Also it has a different rule about how much the patient pays, how much it costs, and more.

In addition, a person who joins a Medicare Advantage plan may not be able to keep getting health care coverage through their employer or union. If this is the case, the person may want to hold off on enrolling in Medicare.
